Yes like most people have said would agree with the painting option. Choose a nice light colour and as already mentioned updating the door handles could give it a whole new modern look. At the end of the day the worst that could happen is that you don't like it and then you can get rid of it but at least you have tried to give it a new lease of life! I can see you have some nice glassware stored in there at the moment so if you are planning to keep this in there why not think about adding some cabinet lighting to make the most of this and have it as a feature in your room as there are a number of cabinet lights you can look at to achieve this effect? Hello there, I was a rep for Benjamin Moore paints and have worked with a lot of paint colours - they have 3500 in the full collection! For a small room you need a colour with warmth in it a hint of yellow to reflect the light but it will predominantly depend on the colour and amount of light coming in to your room. I would be happy to order some large samples of colour sheets that are sprayed in the actual colour so you can check the tone works in your room free of charge. Yes fascias = doors and drawer fronts and any end panels. Find a local supplier who can supply cut and edged board. That’s the cheapest method. They buy in the board, cut to size, and edge it on specific machinery, then drill in the hinge hole positions. You could look on the Egger and Kronospan websites for colours. Thousands to choose from all at different prices. I wouldn’t put Fablon on the worktop. It will end up getting cut and damaged. Regardless of the fact that you’re supposed to use a chopping board, many don’t and they also place hot saucepans on a worktop which again is something you shouldn’t do. If they do this on Fablon it will just melt it away and then you’ll be left with one huge messy worktop. Either replace the worktops with cheap ones or leave them as they are if they’re not too bad.

I find those dulux samples with the fiddly brushes difficult to use. The best thing to do it to buy sheets of card and carefully paint two coats onto each sheet and hold them next to the cupboard samples. It should become obvious which looks 'off' and which looks right. The best off whites I have found that are warm without being sickly are Paint and Paper Library 'Stone' (one, two or three) and Fired Earth 'Wax Myrtle'. Paint and Paper Stone seems to be a 'go to' neutral for lots of designers as it's such a balanced colour. I wouldn't bother with F&B, they are too yellow, grey or green. If the room doesn't get a huge anount of light, then I would compensate with warmth. This would mean a wood floor or at least a floor that looks warm.
