Need help decorating grey and green family room
Comments (3)Why not try a moveable bookcase on wheels in white, to help screen the Childrens play area? This can then, depending on their ages be decorated as a kind of separate area with colourful storage boxes, playmats etc in White / Green and another funky colour for fun. You could even put two back to back, one side kids, one side adults!...See MoreTeal & Grey Colour Scheme For Lounge Help Needed
Comments (30)Just did an on-line search for "grey and teal and living room", and this thread came up. Love your ideas, and the advice you received. How did your room turn out? Can you post some pics? (I'd like to do something similar in our new rear extension which is approaching the fun decoration time)....See MoreHELP! How can I make this grey sofa work in this room!
Comments (16)I'd go for raspberry & pink, not as harsh as red, but definitely warming. I'd be very tempted if you go for the darker curtains, to go for the same colour rug, just for a bit of unity. However, if you then put a wooden coffee table on the rug, the wood will warm it up. All the pinks above will go with any grey, Different texture cushions in paler colours will help soften the look. This rug and coffee table go well with the whole theme, softens it down, and although grey tones, when mixed in with the soft accessories, cushions, vases, curtain ties etc will look really cosy. The shelves are fine in whitewash, painting them may make the room feel smaller. Its better to let your items on display be the focus, than the shelves themselves. The darker bifold look more modern, and add extra dimension to the space. Depending on where the other window is, and how out of place it may look from the outside, you could replace it to go with the doors, or have the internal frame painted to match....See MoreEesh s78
