It is a custom made concrete sink. Pictures don't do it justice. It is amazing! Thank you for your inquiry!

Our sinks were built in, but their cabinets were low and bending hurt my back. I determined the cabinets could be raised by adding a horizontal board just above the place at bottom that is indented for your toes. It added about five inches, bringing the counters up to the height of our kitchen counters. The board was stained to match the cabinet and is right under where the cabinet doors open. The line of the board is hidden by a length of wood trim. This raising up did require adding pipe to the water lines under the sinks to fill the pipe gap; moving the very large mirrors (no breaks or chips!) upward and moving the lighting above the mirrors up, as well. Took one day of work by carpenter and helper. Well worth the cost.

Seems a good deal! Can you also specify make of appliances?! Not very cutting edge but a built in coffee machine for me and wine cooler. There was a recent article on here re SMEG fridges that may be worth a read. What is the style of the kitchen? Do you have a pic?

The small cupboard above the sink opens horizontally and is actually pretty inconvenient, so I'm sure that a rack would work well thinking about it. As for the spices, they need some serious decluttering! I'm considering another shelving unit on the opposite wall to hold everything currently on the worktop. Unfortunately, there's no other space for a dining table but I have been looking at smaller expendable models as we hardly use our current one. Extra pull out worktops would be ideal! I'm not sure if there is quite enough space above the white goods but I will have another scan of the kitchen. Hopefully they will work somewhere as the extra preparation area would be so useful.
