Cluster Pendant Lighting for living room
Comments (4)Hi Takawira, I have recently added a Sotto Luce 3-arm suspension pendant for around £80 from madeindesign.com in a room. It was meant for a small-ish (3mx3m) home office with a good source of natural light (South facing window). I used vintage Edison LED bulbs from here: http://www.cultfurniture.com/lighting-c11/edison-st64-t9-vintage-ferrowatt-e27-led-light-bulb-p1879 They have an equivalent of 40W. The overall effect is beautiful but the light is not strong enough. It just feels very 'dimmed'. On that basis I would not add to a living room as a main light source. But it would look indeed very cool as a secondary light source. It may well be the reason they have these over dining tables!...See Morelooking for a bedroom light

Comments (13)Hi Sandra, I have this and absolutely love it. https://www.conranshop.co.uk/lumio-sf-book-lamp-walnut.html?___store=uk_en&pdg=kwd-279894033547:cmp-747913596:adg-38988829157:crv-176356358041:pos-1o2:pid-906333&gclid=Cj0KCQjw7pHLBRDqARIsAFyKPa58xotao40SayXqsS7llIMjdIRRa-V3wDg004-kbG-WLKumM6IVrYYaAt5kEALw_wcB It lets out a really good amount of light as a bedside lamp. It is magnetic too and moveable. If you do like it, please dont be tempted by the Amazon/eBay cheap replicas...on this occasion, not worth it. Else, other end of the style scale...search for Steampunk lamps...cool, industrial style lamps. Let us know how you get on. Hope your son likes his new room!...See MoreWhat would look best on this wall... and lighting.
Comments (10)Good points about the drawers, I agree they would look better moved to the end of the run. Then perhaps I could have doors that open over the corner of the breakfast bar to improve access. Although I was going to have bins in that end cupboard so it might not work after all. Currently considering scrapping the oven tower and maybe keeping our current freestanding oven (or getting a range if budget permits). I'm so indecisive and feeling the pressure as my husband just says yeah to everything I suggest without really thinking about it! The breakfast bar is currently 113cm plus any overhang so I can't work out of pendant lights would look a bit cramped over it? If so, perhaps just one central pendant light with spotlights. I quite like a more vintage style. I'll be keeping my green delonghi kettle and toaster so will try and work in colour to blend....See MoreLucricia Brooke
