dulux ireland and dulux uk

just wondering if there is a difference betwee dulux shades and codes between Ireland and the UK. we got a sample/colourmatch made in a diy store in ireland. its code and name is white cotton. we then used this as a reference for kitchen units spraying. our units came back a cream although the sample is a white. tried since to find a ready made dulux sample in cotton white so try see where the confusion is. Can't find it in Ireland but is on UK sites. sorry this is long winded, but basically I got a sample( twice may I add) that came out white, but using the code my kitchen came back cream. any insight?
