I have recently has some down lights installed in my living room to replace a horrible single lightbulb in the middle of the ceiling which gave off a horrible dull light. Unfortunately I now have the opposite problem where the lights are so bright and "spotty" I feel like I am under interrogation! Has anybdy got any ideas of how I can diffuse the light? My feeling is that a dimmer will simply dull the light and keep the "spotty" effect, whereas I want it to be bright but comfortable. Thanks!
