Looking for single aluminium bifold internal door

My door into the living room measures 76x197 cm. Space is tight so I would like a single aluminium bifold door with 2 horizontal bars across (to look like it has 6 panes of glass), but I can't find anyone that sells these or indeed makes them bespoke, I can only find standard internal bifold doors or wood single bifolds. I want aluminium for that industrial look (I have a fairly old house with crittall style black windows). Can anyone recommend anyone in the UK? I live in the South West. Many thanks.

You need to search for room dividers not bi-fold doors as the latter is usually for the inside to outside.

I think the problem will be with the size as that's quite narrow.

Thank you, the size is the problem, however there are lots of wooden bifold doors, so I think I may have to find somewhere that does design and build doors in aluminium. I'm really amazed that after hours of searching I can't find anywhere - a gap in the market maybe!?

Hi there, do you have brick work and an opening already there or are you creating a screen from nothing? Could you consider pocket doors? if you are having stud walls installed then you could have them made with pockets so that you could push the doors back flush in to them. Or if that's not a possibility slim double french doors are always elegant and classic. If you fit them with small blinds you would be able to create the privacy your guests would require but keep it light and airy for family use. The problem I can foresee with internal bi-folds is that you would have to have a channel in the floor for them to run in which won't be very attractive. There is also quite a bulk when they are folded up which will eat in to your space. Do you have any photographs or plans that we could see?

I think it depends on the style of the internal room? If it’s quite modern I think the dark grey would look good inside. My sister had big sliders installed when she refurbished her house and she chose dark grey inside and out and they look fabulous. Her brickwork outside is yellow. I tried to find a picture but only had this one which only just shows a tiny part of the dark grey sliders. I don’t know whether it’s anthracite grey or another grey but it really matches her kitchen units!
