Where did the fabric for the chairs come from?

I would like to know where the shades came from as well.

We custom covered the chairs by cutting the fabric into sections! The blinds were also custom made and designed.

Mylands. You always regret your economies. I've repainted this kitchen 4X over the years, and last time was in Dulux which wore so poorly. Just custom mixed a new vibrant duck egg to paint my kitchen in marble matt walls, eggshell woodwork, and floor paint. Mylands matched impeccably. It was a dream of coverage, and looks spectacular. The quality of the pigment shows, looks the money, nothing like synthetic mediocre pigments in cheaper paint. It's a big improvement.

This is a real family kitchen with a very authentic fee. My own take would be to go one of two ways. Either go with the warm in the kitchen that you so obviously feel drawn to.... in which case the gingham in the warm tone would suit well. If you felt you wanted to tie in and bring together the more designed look, then go with the closest you can get to the Aga, these are samples but you can probably get a better match. Gingham is a class country furnishing choice, your home says family, warmth, winter suppers near the bum warmer...gingham won't fight that in winter, and will brighten the feel in summer. I would pull the rug forward so that the sofa is not half on and half off the wooden floor. Remove the 2 dining chairs and replace with an armchair . You need to draw in the space to define it as the sitting area. Definitely needs some art on the walls. A coffee table would help and I would think about putting the dark cupboard the other side and bring the open shelves to the dining side . You could decorate with some interesting books/objects . Also I would replace the curtains . Good luck.
