I am having White under counter basin . I want basin counter , floor and shower bench to be of same colour marble but different colour from my beige Parleto wall. Please suggest colour . Do you mean White Carara Italian marble ? What is Ceasarstone Eggshell ? I have put my wall marble tiles in horizontal pattern . There will be no wooden cabinets in the bath. Do you think mixing something very modern like stone, metal or glass will work in an otherwise traditional setting? I plan to have a roll top in the middle of the room and then knock part-through to the current bathroom (the bathroom is moving next door into the single bedroom) and put the high level flush loo and shower around the corner. I like nooks and crannies and general quirkiness! If I could put a step in somewhere I would! The front of the current bathroom will then be walled shelving storage for shoes, I was thinking. Also, do you know much about the new perspex wall coverings you can get instead of tiles? It'll be metro tiles otherwise. Lastly, anyone experienced the bathroom/original floorboard/water-tight scenario? I really want the floorboards to stay. I get a bit carried away when it comes to my lovely house!!!

My husband is colorblind too (and our 4 year old too). Can't tell the diference between pale green and beige, between purple and navy. He lets me pick the colors for our house and simply says if he likes certain combinations or not. Even if he can't tell what color it is, if it looks good as a whole, he's fine with it. So even if you can't relate to a color, but it looks okay or in balance with the other colors, trust the wife. ;) All earthtones could be lovely, but some pop would be fun too (like sage/seablue). Just depends on the feel/style you want to achieve.

Hi, do you have photos of the space? Is it a light or a dark room? I would personally choose a white or light grey quartz or something like Silestone. Maybe a marble vein in it, like Calacatta Gold. You need to get some samples to see the colours in situ. But if it is a very light filled room, you could also go for a darker granite or quartz.
