Comments (8)Hi. If you want a factory feel I think I would be looking at a freestanding cast iron or copper bath. I'd tile the whole wall in either brick effect tiles or metro tiles. If you go metro tiles I'd probably add a darker border. This may be a bit of a splurge but I would try and get a factory style shower screen. The images are from decoist, flor and peppermint bliss. If you like these try either a local glazier, may need one anyway!, or there are a number of bespoke companies online so would email a pic for a quote. With a free standing bath you are going to have to either move the loo up for the taps or see what can be done with the recess, preferably I'd remove the shelf in the recess as it can't all be hiding plumbing. What is the wall cupboard at the end of the bath? It also looks as if you have a big cupboard in the bathroom? If so, I would be looking at a wooden or metal console with a freestanding basin, if you shop around, you can get them cheaply. If you don't have other storage, maybe save money and paint the existing unit but update the taps. If you don't go for the shower screen then add a factory style mirror and some industriał pendants hanging down....See MoreStylish contemporary bathroom accessories

Comments (10)Hi. I'm a bit confused, have you bought the vanity and are looking to paint it? Is the rest of the bathroom fitted as you could add brass or copper taps for instance with a matching mirror? Accessories will also warm it. I like a little wooden stool in a bathroom which you can add accessories to i.e. A candle, natural sponge, flannel etc which has some texture. A plant on the window sill if you have one and then nice accessories for the sink and either some coloured towels or I like hammam ones. I've found a couple of pics but they may not post as houzz has issues :( These are using deep rich colours which may bring the cabinet towards you a little. A darker top for the vanity would also work...See MoreInspiration for bathroom tiles
Comments (2)My favourite tile formations are hexagonal or stacked, so how about large format hexagonal for the floor and shower walls, or stacked for the shower area? Here’s some ideas, all quite colourful, but of course available in more neutral shades too....See MoreAwal
