Please advice me about my bedroom!!

This is the drawing of my bedroom. I'm planning to make a partition behind the bed opposite the doors of the bathroom and the dressing room to use it as extension of the dressing (1.5m).
The other picture is an idea of how the partition will be but with only one side to open.

The questions now...
Should I keep the bed on the middle of the room or on the side?
What other ideas if I don't want a slide door ??
Any other suggestions or new ideas?

It's a lovely idea. You have a lot of room in the bedroom and I think that both the bathroom and dressing room could be extended instead. You could still go for your panel wall as above, which I like very much, but instead remove the other front walls and create a bigger bathroom and dressing room. You should then have room for a full bath, walk in shower, toilet and vanity unit plus the increase in size of the dressing room that you wanted.

Have a doorway through the middle so that you can walk straight from bathroom to dressing room.

If you don't like the idea of only a partition for the bathroom etc you can alway think about putting doors back on. Personally I think the panel walls are new, exciting and innovative.

I would suggest going for the plain reddish/pink throw with the rose/floral pattern cushion. Keep it to just those colours as you don't want it to look too mismatched as that could give your small room a cluttered feel. To add some glamour easily, I would recommend more lighting in the form of some candles and also perhaps some fairy lights around the window would add something extra to the window alcove.

Thanks Carolina..love the way you've used the photo..very impressive . So many ideas to look at and I think I have a mirror exactly like that somewhere. Lovely bedside tables too..thanks so much. Minnie great colours ..I like those patterns and fabrics a lot. Ive been thinking about a bed end stool..will keep an eye out for one. The shade is new and so much bigger than I thought it would be..should have measured. I kind of like the bohemian look of it to be honest ..thanks so much .

Have a look at Cromarty. It’s a Farrow & Ball colour but others will colour match. I colour matched with Johnstones as I prefer their paint. Cromarty is a very pale grey/silver green. I’ve just done one bedroom in it and I’m really pleased with the colour. Clean, fresh, bright and modern.

I think decorating with red can be difficult but in my opinion there are some tricks. Firstly I would choose a wallpaper that has a pattern. Be mindful of your desire to make the room elegant and avoid retro patterns, abstract swirly patterns and high contrasts of colour such as red and white or red and black. If you find a pattern you like such as the pictures included you will have a palate of three colours you can use which makes it easier to make decorating choices- for instance if you chose the Wysteria pattern- you could add this to either the whole room or a feature wall then consider the grey colour for the remaining walls. Personally I think the plain duvet needs a Chunky knit throw and the bedside tables need a bigger more ornate table lamp.
