Bathroom brand?

I had a few quote for 3 bathrooms. 1 family bathroom with bath/shower, 1 en-suit shower, 1 wc. All are quite tiny for 3 beds. However, they asked me starting 10k each because I want a luxury look such as all hung toilets, nice tops for basin, two rainfall showers in family and en-suit, full tiled/something to the wall and floor,shiny ceiling, down lights, etc like Houzz photos. Is it reasonable? Or I could go much cheaper but still luxury look?
I am from far where you can live very luxury for a lot less money. I stay at home most times and have had depression in current house. So I want to live with a bit of luxury and feel home as I used to live in my country but really can't spend that much money. My husband said he can do it. Easy peasy. Well, he wishes.

I would source and possibly purchase your products online, so that you are in charge of the price and pay for the labour. 30K for 1 full bathroom, 1 en-suite and a toilet is more than most would think is anywhere near reasonable. People doing quotes can only pick up what you say you want and if you band about 'luxury' this and that, they will go top end for you. If you opened with my budget is £15k for everything including products, then they will know where they stand, by all means tell them that you don't want cheap looking. Do your research find out what products you like and where to buy and the cost and then get the quotes.

Hi M, What are you looking for exactly? Brass ware, sanitary ware, showers? Personally I suggest Catalano ceramics, Crosswater brass ware and showers and Bauhaus enclosures/glass. Hahahaha Joanna! Honestly me and hubby have also invested emotion into this. Seems like we are in the same boat, rewire/ installing gas, putting in central heating, all the works basically! I would love to know how it all comes along for you. I wish we could do house tours on houzz for the amateurs like me! Whilst the amazing houses from interior designers and architects are so inspirational, not everyone like me can afford their expertise for first timers and would amazing to see what other first timers have done. Loving all these ideas! Do you know what type or style of shower you want to go for? There are so many options nowadays, Would you like wall-mounted or flushed ceiling, for example? Here are some ideas: This is the Sunshine shower head, a stainless steel disc Ø 350 mm with one ABS disc within that is fitted to the ceiling, complete with water guide system and optional white light therapy, massage or atomiser jets. Hello All, Thank you for all your comments! It's great to see how important these factors are to people (especially as this 'Old Age' shenanigans will be experienced by all one day!) With regard to the height of the toilet - the lady in question is in her late eighties, and we worked with her at each stage of the remodel, she tested the height of the toilet to make sure it was exactly where she wanted it and where she felt comfortable (the same with the grab handles). We also put the basin on a reinforced frame, so that she can use that as support, if needed. I think it must be the angle of the photograph as there is plenty of room to manoeuvre between the WC and the shower screen. Concealed cisterns are great for a project like this as they are such a space saving design. Using a reliable and recommended brand such as Gerberit puts your mind at ease that nothing should go wrong - especially if you use skilled plumber/tradesmen. Obviously nothing is perfect, which is why if anything should (and it is rare that it does go wrong) they come with a 25 year guarantee. You will also find that a maintenance hatch might be useful, and cause less stress if anything should go wrong. We have been fitting these types of systems for well over 20 years now and (*touch wood*) have not had a single problem! Importantly - Concealed cisterns and wall hung WC's provide the ideal easy-to-clean, and extremely hygienic surface. There are no obstacles to clean around or cisterns to clean under, just uninterrupted floor space, which can be cleaned easily in one go! For a project like this, one of the biggest advantages of concealed cisterns that are coupled with wall-hung WC's is that the user can adjust the height of the toilet to suit their particular height requirements. So often, floor-standing toilets don’t accommodate very tall, short or elderly individuals, making them uncomfortable to use. Other advantages are, of course, aesthetics, noise reduction, environmentally friendly, they can take more weight and are therefore stronger, you have a lot more design freedom in planning a space, finally they are state of the art, and more durable nowadays. The shower seat is not fixed, so she is able to move this in and out with ease! Having lived with the original bathroom for about 50 years our client wanted a change! She wanted a very clean, modern, bright, and un-cluttered space. She didn't want anything on show, and wanted to walk in to a serene and soothing space! She has a lovely vase of bright flowers on the window sill, as a finishing touch and that's as far as the 'accessories' go (I did spot some orange towels, so that gives a splash of colour!) Thank you Man about the house. I like your ideas. You always have got other options for me. However, it's very tiring and need plenty time to have a good look with such kinds of brands and details. Also I need to have some knowledge and know what exactly I want but of course, I want to be in charge for the prices which I think so rip off. If I have kind of list/knowledge then I could order all and just hire someone to fit them all. Err... but thank you very much.
