The console was from Orchid Furniture in London. You could probably get something similar from other merchants in the US that specialise in Chinese furniture.

Hi. I think you need at least 3ft gap between the table and wall, more if it's an entrance/corridor etc. If you move the table towards the fire it obviously means moving the rug, sorry to state the obvious!, and I think you'd need 12-18 inches gap between the fire and rug for it to work. Maybe try moving it and then measure the gap the other side
