I need help with Window designs and an exterior colour scheme
Comments (28)I really think you should consider timber. All WWA members have their windows tested against air and water leakage, so there won't be any problems there. They come factory-finished in any RAL colour and can be repainted (outside or inside) whenever you want. And the frames will last twice as long as plastic. I would replicate its original windows, which are beautiful. It's a handsome house - keep its value by keeping its authentic character....See MorePainting the house
Comments (35)I am a total F & B superfan, but, I don't use their exterior paint any longer I have found Dulux Weathershield to be far more superior and longer lasting. I used Dark Acorn and its the exact same shade as the F & B that was on before. Have used Cornforth and Amnonite on the inside of my home - and both lovely. Also I have found that external colours fade quite quickly (although the Weathershield less so) ... and maybe less on a North aspect. Just a thought....See MoreHelp! Comments (10)Thanks Jonathan. I’m not totally adverse to the yellow and perhaps your right less yellowish window might help crisp up. I like the warmth statement and blending with greenery that current colour has but it needs painting badly and so having moved in last year feel need to make a change and loose yellow. I suppose as it is tired and everything in the house is either yellow or green (avocado) and tired!!! I’ll look at greys with off white windows as you suggest.........See MoreHelp please what colour to paint house
