Comments (15)I threw them all away at the weekend! I did also like one that had a touch of brown though so very likely to be those! The samples only cost £2 I think so would definitely order them. We are just doing the house up to rent for my father-in-law so it's really like for like replacing with white suite (has a 70s one at the mo!), limited tiling and a vinyl wood effect floor....See Moreplease can i get some kitchen advice ??
Comments (10)keep your units light in colour. the undercounter fridges are fantastic for every day stuff and very convenient... I mean how often do you need to grab the random jar of paste in the back of your fridge? this can be in another room. have glass splashbacks around the room to add texture, illumination and reflection, add a hint of colour, or a textured glass splashback to add interest. invest in some great led lighting that can be installed in the base of your wall units. have a look at intoto ribble valley's traditional kitchens www. intoto.co.uk/ribblevalley for a few of our ideas and mixing door colours. good luck, it will be lovely!...See MoreWhere Can I source kitchen with non-standard size cabinets
Comments (3)You need to consider 2 important points. 1. Raw material sizing will restrict how high you can make your units. You also need to consider transport. Its one thing to make a 3m high tall unit (not possible as most material sheets max out at around 2.4-2.5m) but how do you transport it. How do you bring it round corners in houses etc? 2. Special sizing and slab painted doors are not what you would find in sheds. You need to look at independents or bespoke cabinet makers and yes you would have to pay for specially made furniture....See MoreWhere can I get a light like this in the uk?
Comments (19)HI, yes agree, 2 or three pendants depending on the size over the peninsula, those Broadway Emery Vintage Mini pendant lights are good as they're only 20cm across. You'd need larger for the dining table. The Artisan Lamp holder with braided flex is just a pendant fitting that you have to put a shade on, so it wouldn't work unless you can find a shade that you like. Still best to go for items from the same range, You need a pendant light fitting for the dining room in the range of 300mm to 500mm wide depending on how wide and long the table is really. Regards the spots, keep those on the kitchen light switch as a separate entity, so on or off, and have separate spurs for your dining room and the island so that you can dim them and have them on or off without the kitchen lights. Make sure, as i said earlier that you buy dimmable switches and dimmable bulbs....See Moregnomehome123
