Freestanding bath problem

We have this bath installed in the corner of our bathroom under the window. Right next to it (at the high end) is a shower cubicle. The tap end is about a foot away from the side wall which has the towel radiator. I hate the bath because it's virtually impossible to clean under it. Much as we'd love to redo the bathroom (installed by the previous owners), we can't afford to right now. But i wondered if there was a way to replace the bath without disturbing the tiles which cover the floor and walls. All the corner baths i can see, seem to have the tap holes at the wall end, whereas ours are at the other end. Any suggestions?

Here's the corner. We need to redo the grout. Long term we'd like to replace it with a shower bath and take out the shower cubicle because the room is too crowded. But it would be expensive because the walls are fully tiled

You can use side panels or a deck/surround to create what is, in effect, a free standing bath that would work well aesthetically and, optionally, as part of a wetroom-style bathroom. Deep soaking tubs are especially effective for such projects; they have smaller footprint, which affords more room in the shower area, but their greater depth makes them exceptionally comfortable.

Definitely! I think these can work fantastically, but only if the room is large enough to carry it. Freestanding baths in bedrooms work well when the room is not already over crowded with furniture. If you have a separate dressing room and the bedroom is still large enough, then sure, they can really make a feature of the room.

Echo the above, quality is everything, I have a axor starck freestanding bath shower mixer, used every day for 15 years and still like new! No leaks and they actually still manufacture and retail to this day it with all parts available to order should anything break.....which it won’t! Lol

There are no regulations for bath overflows. They were added for insurance purposes. As long as you have a waterproof floor, I wouldn't be too concerned.
