New wet room - grout coming out

Hi,

I've had a wet room installed which consists of a natural stone hexagon floor. The problem is the grout is coming out in two different places. I've had this re grouted twice and it's happened again and I'm at a loss of what to do.

my installer wants to re grout again but I don't think it's going to help.

any advice would be much appreciated.

Let your ruler regrout it. I imagine he has asked the manufacturers of the first batch Defoe a solution

Hi Fullrenov This sounds like a really poor installation on several levels, you must be very disappointed and frustrated. I think you should contact the British Institute of Kitchen & Bathroom Installation. http://www.ikbbi.org.uk/ They can offer good solid independent advice and check to see if the various standards have been met. If you are having all these issues after a few months, your installers have to come back and sort it out for you, their work must be guaranteed. Good luck with it all, I hope you get it sorted. Karen

Hi Matt, sounds like you have enough space and it’s always a good idea to have a bath and a shower if you can fit both. Our advice is to keep everything concentrated on the left side. Ah, thanks Beano. That snowman is cute, he just doesn't appear very "you" but I have gold sparkly reindeer in my downstairs loo at Xmas which my mum gave me which I would wouldn't say were me but I clearly like them 😂 (Not that I mean that in a bad way to sparkly reindeer btw!) 😂 I need to lose things too, whenever my husband does any form of housework, he either finds strange things and puts them on display or rearranges stuff (last night I discovered, admittedly very cute, wooden dog Xmas "tags" hanging from my kitchen cupboards?!) I swear he does it just to wind me up!
