I need help with Window designs and an exterior colour scheme
Comments (28)I really think you should consider timber. All WWA members have their windows tested against air and water leakage, so there won't be any problems there. They come factory-finished in any RAL colour and can be repainted (outside or inside) whenever you want. And the frames will last twice as long as plastic. I would replicate its original windows, which are beautiful. It's a handsome house - keep its value by keeping its authentic character....See MorePlease help with kitchen design, it just looks so dull!

Comments (4)Those windows look great Claire ! This kitchen design looks ok - but if you are opening up the windows into a bar then echo that with an also slightly unconventional idea perhaps - using a BORA induction hob - which can be fitted ( unusually - but the manufacturers say this is ok) in place if the sink under the window ... the hob itself has a built in extract system - so no extractor needed - and allows you to keep a flatter surface there and entertain your guests by cooking for them while they perch outside ! By moving the sink to where the hob area was allows you to take the DW out of the corner to the end of the run so it's easier to load and unload without being in the way. If you wanted to explore the options more, we are totally independent designers who have years of experience designing kitchens . We help you get the best design to suit your needs - then you shop around with one plan and get as many quotes as you like ! Haggle - negotiate - do a deal - it's all easier when you have your own plan in your hands !...See MoreI have a ~15ftx10.5ft bedroom in dire need of a tidy up and re-design.
Comments (21)After many weeks of experimenting with furniture positions I have finally reached a conclusion which I'm happy with. I am selling the Ikea black desk which was too small and impractical for the room and replaced it with my old curved desk which now fits snugly in the South East corner of my room. I have also put the chest to good use which is now under the bed and will be replaced by 'weathered scaffold board' shelves on the South West wall which previously held my guitars. The guitars will be placed on the North East wall above my chest of drawers which are stacked and positioned next to the bed. I am still yet to decide however which wall should contain all of the photos and canvas'... Perhaps above the headboard. The speakers will be positioned accordingly once some shelves fill the South East corner wall above the desk and the 3 shelves have been positioned. The LP player along with the vinyls will be on the bottom shelf which is still in the process of design. Once this is complete.. I may have time to put hooks above Bob Marley's head for the cables.... If you believe I'm going the wrong direction with this please give me a shout. Pictures will be posted upon completion....See MoreA S
