hello do you have the same tiles on the floor as the wall? Love the look.

Not an exact match but this is a very similar tone.

Hi Elsie,

The tiles on the wall are textured, apart from shower enclosure area. The floor tiles are same as shower area but in different size.
Walls: 600x300x10mm Studio Beige Zigrinato by Worlds End Tiles. Shower enclosure
321x321mm Le Pietre Leccese
by World end Tile.

It depends what type of tile you are referring to, porcelain and ceramic tiles are well-known for being low maintenance,if you regularly clean your tiles with warm water you should be fine! Please note this would not suit natural stone as it would remove the sealer - a specially designed cleaner should be purchased for these.

Hi Ffion, I have to agree with Thelma Henry Interiors. Use a large format wall tile, even 450 x 900 to have as few grout lines as possible. Porcelanosa do several pale grey tiles, Rodano Acero 80 x 80 cm, Nápoles 44 x 66 cm, and others. Paint an "old" white above to match the white of your floor tile. Make sure there's enough contrast between the paint colour and the white of the sanitary ware to avoid having the walls look dirty. Hope that's useful.

So, spoke to the bathroom company this morning and they are reluctant to go down the mitered route to say the least. Having done some Googling, what is being proposed is more akin to this: Their argument is that the renders do not incorporate every design detail, with my counter that in a fully tiled bathrom with many square edges the difference between the render and reality is quite significant. It is true that we did not explicitly request mitered tiles at the outset, however equally no trim was ever discussed either. We’ve gone off the images presented to us. I’m not sure what the solution is at this juncture. Is the bathroom company’s stance that it’s tough s**t a fair one? Thanks all for your help. Yes we are only having patterned floor, wall tiles in wet area largish white. I love the look of wood vanity but when we saw it in showroom it just wasn't quite right, being wood effect. When I swapped for blue vanity in my picture it flet better to me as we will have loads of wood elsewhere on house but what others may see as a boring/dull blue is actually quite adventurous for us! I've posted again on my 'final' decision. Thanks for the help. My nerves are much calmer now with all your friendly and wise input.
