Thanks minnie101. Yes I do like the renovation ☺️. Now I'm working on the decorations.. I do plan to add an AJ floor lamp. It would be great to pull out the sofa a little bit.. May be only a few inches is allowed ,..and place the floor lamp between the window n the sofa near the wall.. If it's too packed, the lamp can be on the left hand side right at the place where the door opens to.. I also plan to hang some pictures on the white wall above the sofa.. May be 2 or 3 pics like that in the sample pics 2, 3 & 4. But I'm very slow on this... hesitating on the styles of the pictures i should choose... May be some geometric black white grey pics with a hint of pink.. And some pics with quotes.. I hope to keep the place look simple and minimal.. A friend of mine said I don't need to add any pic if I want a minimalist design. As for the wall of the living room, there's an irregular clock. I tried to put more numbers scattered over the space but it felt too much and made the place look less spacious,... So finally I took some away and now only no. 1,4,8,9 left. What do u think? I will also add some greenery on the shelves and tables like small pots and plants, cactus, etc. Appreciate any comments & advice.

I agree with tamp75 although I recognise your temptation. However it it is your forever home then go with your heart and get what you want. If you are likely to sell in the coming years then you might want to maintain value with the 5 bedrooms. I am currently completely renovating my house. I have enlarged the master bedroom by pinching space from the adjoining bedroom by moving the wall. I have then created a small en-suite in the master and the smaller bedroom is now a dressing room which if I sell will be marketed as a single bedroom. This is a compromise but I will still have a 5 bedroom house to market if I sell.

Pick a solid white, perhaps some structure, bit of gold/linen in it. Or paint the truffle throughout and hang some artwork or framed posters. Curtains white as well, a red accent (ribbon) would be fun. Next time remember a paint color should be picked after you chose a wallpaper/fabric, not the other way around ;)
