Hello, could anyone help me with a bathroom design please?
Comments (6)If your bathroom size is 3m x 3m you will be able to easily put both, a shower and a bath tub. As to the toilet going on the wall where window is - it all really depends where the stack pipe is. Naturally it will be much easier for the toilet to be as close to the stack, but you can always box the pipe. Running it fully under the floor is not possible due to the size and can only be partial not to weaken the joists too much. I have drafted a quick layout for you with two options A and B. The difference is that option A has a smaller vanity unit, single washbasin and a mirror, while option B has a larger vanity unit, two washbasin and no mirror. Both layouts give you a decent size (1m x 1m) walk-in shower (wetroom) and a good size bath tub (2m x 0.9m). You can really shuffle things around here and for example have a bath tub by the window (upper corner opposite of the door, where toilet is now on the plan) and toilet next to it (pipe can be easily concealed under the tub). Possibly two washbasins with vanity unit and a mirror to the left of the toilet and a shower opposite to it with potential of having a washing machine (where the vanity unit is on option A). Let me know what you think and we can draft some more layouts....See Morehelp with tiling in the bathroom pretty please
Comments (33)These are the tile samples I have so far. On the left - small top dark grey, under that is a tile with faux stepped marble effect tiles that are more slate toned. Large tile to the right is the mandarin stone one (v expensive, lol) The walnut in the middle I love the pattern but it’s not as rich a colour as I wanted and I can’t find anything else online in an American walnut style tile. The bottom tile is a v v pale grey with similar pattern to the mandarin stone one. How would you work these tiles together? Walnut floor and sink unit and dark grey all over the walls? Just the patterned grey on the back of the shower wall and sink area and plain grey on other walls?? :0/...See MoreHelp with small bathroom please
Comments (16)Nessaj have you thought about the style, an overall look, of your new bathroom? From our experience that impacts the design very much. For example, if you’d like to have a more traditional, victorian style, than a big freestanding slipper bath would be the focal point and everything else would have to be designed around it. And on the other hand, if you like a more contemporary feel, then a big wet room enclosure form wall to wall would be the main feature. And all of that dictates the arrangement on the floorplan. We’d be happy to help you if you could tell us more about how your dream bathroom would look like.
