Slim framed French/bifold doors for 1.5 metre opening?
Comments (7)Hi:) You have some good options here, you could definitely have french doors, our most slim line systems we have to offer are AL-UK or Heritage 47 (my favorite), the only issue with a french door is when only using one door your opening is going to be 750mm wide, which you have already stated. As Natalie stated, another great option would be to have a door with side panel, we can make an aluminium door to be 1000mm wide so gaining some great space. Please feel free to get in contact with us if you would like anymore advice or even if you want to have some ideas on what products we do:) Antonino 01727 845600 https://hbdsystems.co.uk/...See Moresteel / aluminum internal doors

Comments (7)Hi Sandi, We make "Crittall style" steel doors, are competitively priced and have a much quicker production time. However, if you were looking for something a little different, we have an in house team of carpenters, joiners and metal fabricators so could build something completely bespoke out of metal and/or timber. For inspiration, here's an example of a recent creative commission, where rather than glazing, we infilled the lower panel with distressed copper. Feel free to get in touch if you'd like any advice on the topic or for us to put a quote together for you. Robin...See MoreOk to combine steel glass & aluminium in same room ?
Comments (2)I would make the colour of the frames the same and check in elevation what it's going to look like. You can mix and match different frame sizes and styles, but need to handle it well to work. Using the same colour can help though. Alternatively making a bold feature of the difference and using strongly different colours or a colour to pick out the one you want to highlight and more neutrals for the others. Basically draw it out in elevation and play around with it until you like it....See MoreSkyglaze Ltd
