Need help with choosing a colour for my living room
Comments (20)maria galvano thank you, I love them too and make me smile whenever I look at them, I bought them from a Bedouin woman in Petra (Jordan). They remind me of an amazing trip to Syria and Jordan some years ago, travelling independently using public transport and meeting amazing people along the way, both locals and tourists. Loved Petra so much and the local Bedouin people, went back for a second day to have another look around as well as sit and drink mint tea and listen to amazing stories ... and yes, they make my home feel alive as most things in it have some connection to a life lived. Thank you again....See MoreNeed help with my open plan kitchen living room colour scheme
Comments (6)Hello there, Thanks for your reply, and you’re very welcome. I have found you some similar colours to the list you have provided below: Farrow Ball Skimming Stone Dulux Elderflower Tea Farrow Ball Worsted 284 Dulux Dusted Moss 1 Farrow Ball Elephants Breath Dulux Knotted Twine I hope these colour suggestions are helpful. Unfortantly I wasn’t able to find the colour Wattle II or Wattle III, so I can’t match a Dulux colour from our range I’m afraid. If you would like to double check the colour names, or send me a link to the colours, I would be more than happy to find you a similar colour for you. Comments (12)Hi Tripti, Sorry, can't open your link with wallpapers. This is one of my recent projects. Maybe it will inspire you (photos are not yet professional I'm still decorating). We sticked to the grey furniture in the living room. You can find a tv unit that matches your sofa colour it would be a good balance. the light on this pic is wrong, the unit is the same colour as the coffee table Also, I found some Kelly Hoppen interiors with grey and gold colours As you can see from the pic she made a grey front wall (which is stone here), grey unit, gold decor. It looks very luxurious. For your interior add some gold decor in the room, it can be a gold frame, vase, candles. ___ Or you can go for a beige unit. In this case you need to consider one thing, a unit needs to be balanced with something also beige in the room. Let say a chair, sofa tables, ottoman, cushions, curtains, small decor. as you can see from the pic beige colour fits really good with gold. Hope this 2 ideas can help you. Comments (4)Here are some examples for light, airy living rooms with brown leather furniture. In smaller spaces, the trick is to use furniture with visible legs and clean lines. So you can see the floor under it, makes the space look larger and it also doesn't block the light so much. Same goes for armrests that aren't very bulky. As you can see in the examples, the open armrests of the chairs let through light and aren't blocking your view through the space....See MoreCreate Perfect
