Whilst carpets bring warmth to a room and keep your feet cosy that's nothing a few beautiful rugs can't do! Comments (12)The poll was neck and neck but it seems like I just tipped it in favour of wood! I prefer wooden flooring, as that is what I am used to. I do like a carpeted landing space however and agree that a carpeted room has a greater element of cosiness to it, especially in colder months. Comments (5)Hi. You'll probably find that the carpet will reflect its colour on the walls therefore I might look at red based neutrals. I think the carpet may also be making the room dark but try adding a large mirror.
