Where can I buy large feather cushions like these for my window seat

I have a large window seat and I'm struggling to make it comfortable

Hi Corrine, I had this cushion made for my client to fit exactly with the dimensions of their space. In other words, it's custom made through my seamstress and I ound the fabric here at the San Francisco Design Center. We alos had the throw pillows made for the client as well.

Hi- just an fyi, I'm American and we Americans do NOT use real wood for weatherboarding!!! 20-30 years ago ppl used vinyl but that had issues, now they use a very strong resin board. No rotting or painting.

So funny! I'm planning to paint the bannister at the new house (TNH) black and am veering towards painting the treads and risers black too... I've been searching for images of black staircases on Houzz and putting them in my entrance hall ideabook. They are few and far between. In your case, I think, with your white walls, maybe the stairs white and the bannister black? (Assuming the white walls continue up the stair walls enabling the b/w contrast.) You've already put black firmly into the equation, adding some more may give more reason for the black rad cab. In my case, there is a very off-centre radiator that could so very easily have been directly opposite the front door in TNH which is rather annoying as it stuffs up the focal point. We are leaving here with every radiator covered with a cabinet - and going to TNH that has loads of radiators ...but no cabinets! Yes, the work ahead is daunting - especially since the area of Ireland we're going to is very basic and not full of DIY resources, etc. I keep thinking I'll paint TNH white - to make things simpler(!) But try as I may colour keeps wandering through my mind! Lovely to be in touch again!

Yes use the colours in the picture and you can't go far wrong! Maybe use the grey and the acid green as the background colours, but don't be afraid to throw a few others in as long as they are in the picture. Don't be worried about exact shades as long as you get the general idea.

Thanks. The seat is 50cms deep and was originally designed by an architect to be a window seat. It still has the same solid support for the first 40cms depth, I've just removed the original decorative panel and replaced it with a very thin radiator. The old wooden front panel and supports would probably still have fitted back in place but I disliked it and threw it out, and it wouldn't have been easy to perforate. I'd been trying to avoid a metal screen, as I can imagine it will clang a bit if someone's sitting on the seat and swinging their legs. But it's a good idea apart from that. My current thought is to have a fixed panel in the middle and some hinged doors at each end of the radiator (for access) ,with the MDF attached to the front edge of the seat rather than fitted underneath. I'll go and take a look at those metal sheets thought :)
