Help! - Made to measure bathroom vanity - any recommendations
Hello,
I have gone and fallen in love with this bathroom vanity (picture attached)... sadly I am not as in love with the price.... the other half definitely is not :-).... Has anyone seen anything similar, or can anyone recommend a joiner or bespoke furniture maker who could make something similar? I am told the curved doors are what make it so expensive, so maybe I could sacrifice these for something square but still as gorgeous...something like the second picture maybe?
Any thoughts or advice will be very gratefully received.

Comments (17)Update -- my plumber finally returned. Not sure what he did while here, but he told me again it wasn't working -- then he did some work on a radiator which had a small leak. We were having a long discussion about options on pumps, new showers, taps etc and I read out the installation guide and he tried it again, and suddenly it worked. It is bizarre as I don't know how many times i tried it previously. My friend who works in construction ALSO called earlier today and tried it several times to no avail. It must have been extremely stiff or perhaps the plumber realised some airlock whilst fixing the radiator since I think water pressure is much stronger since he went. Thanks for everyones help -- i learned lots on plumbing and a valuable lesson to take out the installation manuals myself and not trust that trades men know everything!!! Comments (17)Just a follow up message to say I visited Parker Howley and they were great! They showed us the options they were currently building in the workshop and then basically said they were super flexible and could pretty much modify anything we saw, so if we wanted deeper drawers (yes!) then that wouldn't be a problem. They can also colour match to any F&B or Little Green shades. So we're going ahead and we'll be ordering our vanity unit from them. 6 years agoI have only this picture to hand, but we selected the width, the vanity top and F&B colour we wanted. We had our own handles attached which is why there are none in the photo (and those are our taps).
I agree the US is much better served for traditional vanities. I went up to Stockport to have a look, I was so exasperated in my quest. It is not massively cheap, but it fits and is what we wanted.
