I see this was first posted in November 2015 but just wanted to add that unless you have allergies, feather filled cushions look and feel more comfy. Also nothing smaller than 45cm. I prefer 50cm. I think the decor is really lovely

I selected 'when gardening' but I rarely garden, it was just the closest to 'when doing chores'. I'm a big daydreamer and my mind wanders to creative spaces when I'm doing ''mindless" things like cleaning the toilet etc.

That's an interesting question. Cushions seem to be used in various ways across the world. As an example, there are cultures in which it's the norm to sit on the cushion on the floor and never on the sofa itself. Then there are the cushions that are arranged in various shapes (pyramids, etc.) as 'works of art' never to be touched.
