Not sure where that rug is from, it looks similar to some of the Nourison rugs/carpets but could be from anywhere really or discontinued. Something like this could be made as a custom rug but obviously the cost of this could be excessive depending on budget.

Maybe go back to where you found this pic ( unless it was Pinterest - as unfortunately everything gets re-pinned on there so many times you can't trace it back ) - see if it has any info on it with regards what's in the photo...........magazine articles usually say where the products have been sourced.

For your info, those types of rugs are called Trellis Rugs..................I did a search on google for beige trellis rug, but that one with the little navy bits on it, didn't come up.

I'm feeling pleased to say I have now be later in life been enjoying some of the things I'd love to have, for some time so they don't count for my 'one thing I'm still hoping for..' I love my upmarket induction hob with timer that saves my food from my memory when distracted by a phone call for a chat-length of time; no day goes by without the thrill of pulling open my kitchen's larder cupboard where the contents are so visible and high space is utilised. I agree with ? about having a bidet and have just had one installed and another wish - a walk-in shower Yeah!

Option 1 for me too. Personally I'd go for a cowhide with an arc lamp over the sofa. I know it's becoming "common" if you're on here but I love the look and think it would really suit the room. Maybe a couple of cushions on each sofa laid out as per the attached pic from the design hunter (not with the throw) which looks suitable for a bachelor pad!

The lantern roof joining up with the Crittall windows - so much light and height. Couldn’t have it in my house though as we are S facing and would bake. The cat is also gorgeous! The cabinets, though beautifully made, you can keep. I prefer drawers. I’d ditch the old style tap for a more practical level mixer. And brick as a splashback would be hard to keep clean. It does all look gorgeous but not the most practical.

Sorry, I never came back to my post as I really had to find a paint. It was (minor) panic stations at the start of the week. I settled on wimborne white on three of the walls and then the designers guild cantucci on one wall. It looks really lovely. I not need to decide on kitchen cabinet colours. I've got a bit of time to do that though. Thank you for all of your suggestions. It was really helpful.
