Bedroom dilemma
Comments (3)It's a great size and I love the idea of grey. Why not paint the two recessed areas a darker grey to make them appear deeper. Maybe Farrow and ball, Purbeck Stone 275 for the recesses and the rest of the walls Ammonite 274. This will make it feel much more light and airy and create some more interest. I think the furniture looks fine where it is. Make sure the bed is central between the door and the window. I would then make a feature of the chimney breast. Either add a photo wall or a large mirror, or series of smaller different sized mirrors to add inetrest and bounce the light around. Then some artwork above the bed to introduce as splash of colour. If you could stretch to it a light grey carpet or painted floor boards would finish it off! Hope that helps, good luck...See MoreNeed help with furniture placement in bedroom!
Comments (17)The ŵall looks great, I prefer it to your original choice! The chest of drawers look great pushed together. I wouldn't try going for a symmetrical layout. Hang the mirror where it is portrait with a lamp that's in between the sizes of the 2 shown (maybe a charcoal shade?) with a shorter vase of flowers etc on the rhs and some kind of decorative object in the middle ( a decorative horse's head might look good?!)...See MoreBedroom/bedroom layout
Comments (10)Don’t have dimensions but the en suite looks larger than it needs to be. I would move the wall between bedroom and en suite back a few feet then you could have wardrobe storage space along the bedroom side of the new stud wall. As building a new stud wall you could have a pocket door and I would put the bed and bedside tables as in the diagram above facing the window. In the ensuite I would make the shower as wide as possible stretching between the new stud wall and the exterior window wall and put the toilet and basin side-by-side along the window wall...See MoreRecessed lights placement
Comments (1)When it comes to positioning recessed lights for your ceiling, it's important to consider the height and desired lighting effect. With a low ceiling, you'll be relying on the cans and additional bench lighting to create the desired ambiance. To determine the best placement, it would be helpful to consult a Utah lighting contractor. They have the expertise to assess your space and provide professional advice on the ideal positioning of the spotlights. They can also consider factors like room layout, functionality, and your specific lighting needs. Getting input from a lighting contractor will ensure that you achieve the desired lighting effect while maximizing the limited space available....See Moreestipom
