help choosing windows and door colour.

We're having our windows and front door replaced and need to decide on colours. The windows will be upvc - either cream or white. And the door will be a composite, probably with two vertical rectangles in to let in light.

I'd love to get thoughts on what colours we should go for - cream or white windows? And a grey or blue door?

Charcoal grey windows with modern wood door? And the side window panels of the door in opaque glass for privacy?

Update - alabaster painted oak units, oak worktop, (curved end units and worktop corners) belfast sink, 1100 stainless steel rangemaster porcelain large high gloss ivory 600x600 floor tiles, ivory grout - please see attached look book just still to decide on shade of sage on walls - deciding between F&B Mizzle, Vert De Terre, Ball Green and Cooking Apple Green... Also metro sub/way tiles on walls - whether to go for a sage tile or cream/white... The dining room area off the kitchen will have oak parquet floor which will follow through from hall and will also be in the lounge but Im thinking of following the wall colour in the kitchen through to the dining room for continuity and potentially painting the chimney brest or wall furthest away from and facing the kitchen a darker green complementary colour... Hi, I'm currently going through the same issue, Trying to find the right combo of paints to paint the hallway. I am looking to panel the part beneath the dado to prevent the ever so frustrating scuffing which occurs at sharp corners and am unsure on the colour combo. I was considering grey and white too but I'm scared that it may make the space feel too cold and dull especially as the only light will be through the door which won't be much. What colour combo's would you recommend to make the space feel luxurious and modern, yet not too clinical and cold?? I'd like the paint to be dulux preferably. what is the quality of Valspar paint like, I've seen it at DIY stores but don't know if it reaches standard of dulux? any reviews?? thanks

I too like the windows, suit the property nicely... I'd just change the sidepanel for a full length glazed panel and the door in light grey/ French grey.

Thank you. The windows need replacing as quite few are rotten.

Grey frames is a no-no, as my husband isn't keen. We're thinking white or cream...

Like the idea of the grey door and full length window. Would you have windows in the door?

I think white windows would work well and match the pipes,fascias,etc.

You have a door panel which will throw in light into presumably the hallway. Additional glazing in the door is personal preference; I think both would look well.

Both a contemporary and traditional door would suit the property in my opinion.
