It looks like the little kitchen area has now gone so I would create a booth style seating area in that space. The piano I would then put at an angle in the other nook facing into the room as a feature corner. The rest of the seating would then be in the main central area. I think ultimately this depends on the budget you now have to finish the room, whether lighting can be changed to incorporate some features and task lighting/pendants. Have you considered having a designer look at the space? I work remotely and include lighting, layout and accessorising in my PDF remote designs. As you already have the wall colour and flooring sorted this you would be surprised how affordable the price is :) best of luck. It's looking great so far.

Hi There, Taking into consideration the general layout of the space I think that this room could serve well as a dual purpose room, converting it to a study with a play corner for the kids could allow you the opportunity to take care of your daily admin tasks while keeping an eye on the children and as they grow desk space could be made available where they can have their own work stations. Other more extensive options would include a side extension next to the kitchen which would allow you to open up the space more effectively and make use of natural light through the addition of skylights over the kitchen extension. This space could then become a family orientated living area while the front living room could be decreased in size or split in two to form a study and play room for the kids. A under stair storage space could also meet your requirements of a cloak and boot room... On my screen they all look much the same to be honest. A lovely white is Wimborne White by F&B. I also like Pointing more a cream and All White, a bright, clean white. Can you list what those whites are?
