Gas boiler in shower cubicle
Comments (2)If you put the boiler in the cubicle it will get very wet and how would you bend over to wash your feet or puck up the soap ?...See MoreWhat type of shower cubicle could fit in this space?
Comments (15)Thanks ever so much for all the input. Sadly an outward opening or sliding door is not an option due to the position of other walls/doors etc outside the bathroom. Theoretically the toilet could swap positions with the shower, however this would mean having a really tiny sink and as we spend a good deal more time using the sink than the shower and I need storage too, I think this would prove a compromise too far. we've had a measure and have found a pivot/in-fold door which looks like it fits the bill if we move the toilet right over. It looks a bit neater than a bifold door. https://www.ukbathroomstore.co.uk/simpsons-edge-800mm-in-fold-shower-door-eidsc0800?gclid=CP-3i8eol9ECFUHnGwoddsAP5w The wall would be built out to form a full enclosure, although I will investigate custom glass panel options too. A corner opening arrangement would be nice but I think this will be a workable solution. Once again, thank you for your ideas and input. Comments (15)Chris, We have the same shower tray as you (but in the 150cm format) and also exactly the same issue. I think it's a design fault as the tray is too shallow and the ridge round the edge does not contain the water. Our highly untechnical solution has been to buy shower mats which are exactly 80cm wide (from Christy on their website) and then to accept that they will get soaked and to dry them on the heated towel rail. Sorry if this is not the most sophisticated solution but it works for us. Good luck...See Moregold taps and chrome shower cubicle - yay or nay?
Comments (7)I think it can work, but perhaps there's an option of an enclosure that has lesser amount if chrome details. Below is an example of two different finishes used alongside. I know it's an enclosure you can't have, but just to visualise the principle. https://www.victorianplumbing.co.uk/simpsons-design-quadrant-single-hinged-door-shower-enclosure-3-size-options?campaign=googlebase&PS2PVV1=4511&gclid=CjwKCAjw-OHkBRBkEiwAoOZqlx12MfkjzrD3FwbfqA2Bhdt_2NRVwoa-js2NvS9oO0-nVzelFKtJ-RoCrv4QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds...See MoreLindsey Stewart
