Loft conversion in London flat

We are considering a simple loft conversion in our flat in Brixton. Can anyone recommend a good company?

Factory style stairs and walls ie glass with dark frames are very in at the moment. I've attached a couple of images but they don't show exactly what I mean! The 2nd is one of a Jamie's italian If you look at the glass wall at the back. I would go for something like this. If you're on a budget you may well achieve this by leaving the glass in and painting every architectural element of the stairs in a charcoal/slate grey except the treads and the underside of the stairs. I would also paint your windows the same and leave walls in white. I love the table the current owners have. I'd go for something similar but with a bench one side and a mix of industriał and early to mid century chairs the other. I wouldn't personally have a 2nd dining area though. Do you need a study area or extended sitting area? I'd go for velvet Chesterfield sofas in either grey or navy with some mustard cushions. The wall over the red cabinet is crying out for a huge piece of bright contemporary art. I'd also have to have a cowhide rug! It's a fantastic apartment! Hi firstly many many years ago certain local authorities would require permission for hip to gables and others wouldn't . I personally took it upon myself to make it a level playing field and ideally make it permitted development (pd) . Many letters ( no emails then ) and phone calls later someone saw the light and they made it pd . Unless the hip directly over looks a highway or your in a conservation area ? to answer your main quirery. besides that I can't see why your loft is not possible and very rarely do we have to take a full bedroom to get the stairs up there. I think I'd have to see the right move listing to get a better feel for you description of different levels . Hard to get a feel but this is one of my last hip to gables.
