Garden water feature and bed colour?

We have nearly completed a garden project adding in a patio area (paving is 'Pure Mint' sandstone) with a raised water feature and beds.
Originally we were going to paint the render on the beds / feature white but now thinking something a little less stark whilst still maintaining a contemporary look, but are struggling to choose between three colours in the photo.
On the right hand bed (ignore the left hand bed colour, that's been discounted) the lightest in the photo is Lime White, the pinky one is Oxford Stone and the darkest is Mouses Back (all F&B). I can't help but think Oxford stone is a bit too similar to the paving, and Mouses Back is totally opposite to what we planned which was lighter beds vs paving but I kinda like it, however worried it will look dark in the winter. I'm not sure if Lime white is too yellow though?
Impartial thoughts would be appreciated before we end up with more testers!

I don't think the lime white works well with your paving but either of the others would be good. I quite like the one that's similar to your paving - depends whether you want to make a feature of the rendered wall with the darker colour or keep the wall similar to the paving & let your water feature stand out.

So after a few more testers we ended up going for one called Urban White by Weathershield which is a slightly grey white (which was significantly less than F&B but not the driver to us choosing it).

Hello, Have you seen http://www.ixxidesign.com/producten/beeldenbank/kunst/van-gogh? If you like Blossom prints they have Van Gogh's Almond Blossom print that you can make as big as you like to fit your wall or headboard space. I was very tempted to use this when redecorating my bathroom recently and will probably do a feature wall in my bedroom when I get round to it. They seem to have a large image bank of other art work if the colour is too much. What I like is that you can take the design with you if you move, unlike expensive wallpaper! Good luck with yours! What a great picture, and a design that could easily be adjusted for your site, in terms of both hard landscaping and soft landscaping for a Cheshire site. The elements of slabs, wooden boards, rendered walls, low hidden water feature and lush low-maintenance planting can be achieved on a small budget. Water features surprisingly cost quite a bit, even a simple rill such as in the picture with small bubbling jets and lighting. To keep the cost down, you could look for concrete slabs, and use a softer wood and then stain it to the colour you want, rather than going for an expensive Iroko wooden board. Of course, once you start staining you will need a regular care schedule of cleaning it and re-staining it. Perhaps if the budget will allow, you could spend more on say composite decking boards and a stylish piece of furniture, and then use cheaper products elsewhere. A good Internet search will reveal some great products, but don't get carried away. Stick to your idea of how the garden should look and be strict with yourself. Light colours always help to make a garden pretty so maybe try a pastel colour. I'm personally in love with a sort of light mint colour, this works really well with white (but any pastel will) cornflour is nice too for gardens as it is more of a contrast to the leaves. Growing a climber up some trellis on the wall might be an idea too, honeysuckle smells very sweet and attracts butterflies but any climber again will work. I have attached the mint colour I meant just for clarity, a word of caution would be that it can look a little clinical so to be used in moderation.

I don’t know about dark bark. If I were you, I’d considered planting some taller plants suitable for the particular soil and intensity of sun. Decking could be improved by painting with https://www.wood-finishes-direct.com/product/ronseal-decking-rescue-paint. Our decking was in a sorry state when we bought our house 6 years ago. After experimenting with a few types of treatments, I chose Ronseal product above. It still works for my decking to the extent that I hope to get two more years out of it before finally replacing it.
