Comments (16)Beware of dark colours on a dark floor. We wanted a dark colour so chose a light floor - and it works, just. If I'm honest, I think it is a bit too dark, but it does look good and my wife loves it. It is F&B Mouse's Back. It also works because the kitchen is big and well lit - dark cabinets may make a galley kitchen feel a bit like a corridor i.e. oppressive. Also, what Schmidt does and I absolutely love it is an inset of a stone into laminate worktop so you just pick a spot on your worktop you would use for hot pots or as a chopping board and you're killing two birds with one stone.
