Colour match for garage door

I have just replaced my front door with a composite door in oak wood colour. I would like to paint the garage door, which is white, to match the colour of the new front door.
Unfortunately the company I bought the door from doesn’t have any suggestions.
I have been looking at paint colour samples but can’t find anything that looks right. Ideas please!

Comments (10)Good morning, May I suggest for the front door and garage be painted the same in a very high gloss, possibly from farrow and balls collection a colour that has similarly to the stone used on the house such as.....Archive or Oxford stone which should compliment the brown window frames? I would also suggest you remove all the terracotta planters and replace them with some contemporary natural stone or paint the planters same as the door and they should be tall and plant some large box balls or sphere shapes which should update the look? Comments (14)White will bring the garage to the fore and draw the eye to it - not what most people wnat of a garage. A warm darkish grey (to tone with the bricks) on the door and barge boards will make the garage much less intrusive to the eye. Then plant a nice climbing rose on the corner to soften the edge....See More

I’m inclined to agree with nasmijati and tamp75. I think it will be a challenge to find a paint that will match exactly, and a contrasting colour may only serve to detract from your lovely new door.
Unless, you are thinking of changing the colour of other external elements e.g eaves, fascias, door and window frames etc, for which I would suggest grey, as it would really complement the oak.
If budget allowed in the future, you could always go for an oak garage door too!
