Heated towel rail and vanity sink on a painted wall - yes or no?

Hello all,
Is it a big no-no to install a heated towel rail and hung vanity sink on a wall that hasn't been tiled?
My intention was to tile the two walls around my bath with a dark grey/near black tile, and have the other two walls as brilliant white. One of those walls, however, will have the furniture on it.
I know I could add a splash-back behind the sink but I'm worried it will ruin the minimalist aesthetic I'm going for. For reference, the sink I have chosen is attached (Hudson Reed Coast, Grey Gloss 600mm).
Any advice is appreciated!
Jay.
