Comments (12)I like the centre table idea, like ED's inspiration pic. I'd go for a pedestal base. Haven't you got the impressive feature fireplace. Would you consider matching a tabletop to that to tie in with the other room. Don't know if it would be too costly but worth costing it if you like the idea? Your floral display would look great centred on it in the hallway. Comments (4)hi Sam, the look you are trying to achieve can be done with leaving the paper in place, although it is always good to remove old layers of paper etc when embarking on a major piece of work. The system you are planning will be carried out by a joinery company who will make the panelling. I think it is a good look and ultimately you need to have what you like.
