Recommendations for suppliers of economical 'crittal' type doors....

Looking for recommendations on suppliers for crittal-type internal/external doors that cover the Warwickshire area. This is exactly what i am hoping to achieve, and found an amazing company...but unfortunately they are based in the Netherlands :(

Cat you could try http://www.lightfootwindows.co.uk or http://www.dandrdesign.co.uk/steel-windows.html and ask for advice, they will be able to fabricate alternatives. We used Crittall from D&R and were super happy with their service.

Fiona - I’ve been looking into replacing some doors with Crittal style and have contacted loads of suppliers and companies. The one that I’ve been most impressed with is the company mentioned above by Lou Valdini - Merlin Windows in Yorkshire. (I’m in the East Midlands). They gave me a competitive quote really quickly and then I got a quote from the fitter mentioned. (They fit across the UK and they link in with Merlin to ensure timings etc). It’s likely that we will go ahead in the next few months. (Just need to convince husband as he prefers chunky timber 😂)

Hi Claudia, we have a number of crittal door suppliers - Bespoke Glazing, Cotsworld Casement and www.pdacklandmetalwindows.co.uk are all brilliant. Another option which we did recently fora client which looked amazing was they bought some old metal doors off eBay from a hospital and then scrubbed them down and repainted them. They looked great and cost about £650. The trick is don't hold out for crittal as that's just the brand type in metal/steel- windows/doors as they are very similar and much more cost efficient.
