We bought them from a place called Holloway's of Ludlow in Brook green, London.

Yeah, as long as the cords aren't fixed, gravity will do its job and they'll look great. Just make sure the attachments to the ceiling are lined up. If you are installing them down the slope as opposed to along it, you can just adjust the cord height.

Similar position as the lights in the link that Twyla sent look gorgeous but a bit over my budget (we're doing an extension and literally everything has come in over budget 😩) How lovely to make your own, I think I'm going to attempt it!
