white gloss kitchen, what dining table and over table light will suit?

We’ve just moved in and are about to change the floor to a slightly darker wood colour and possibly changing our worktop to black granite.

What dining table and chairs would suit our kitchen? I’m looking for an 8 seater and ideally childproof. I also would like any suggestions on lighting that can hang over the table?
