I was wondering what cabinet line these were from/who was your cabinet maker? I love the Butternut wood and would like to check these out. Thank you.

Does anyone have experience using Zenit or Syncron by Alvic?

Hi! My husband and I were introduced to Fenix NTM as a cabinet finish (for its soft touch, anti-fingerprint, and anti-scratch properties, and overall durability). However, our GC's cabinet maker uses something called Zenit by Alvic (this is a matt finish) and Syncron by Alvic (this includes a wood-look finish). Does anyone have experience with either of these finishes for the kitchen and bathrooms, please? We're primarily concerned with the finish being (i) durable (our wood and high-gloss paint cabinets have worn terribly); (ii) anti-fingerprints; and (iii) anti-scratch. I would have the table against the wall (opposite window) with either a bench of built in seating, this way you could have space for a chair / sofa on the opposite aide. If you used a bench, you could then put the table centrally for occasions (xmas etc). I think a central feature light would still work with wall lights to table area.

The majority of carcases are made out of MFC. Most people choose white. You buy them according to the size you want and depending where you get them from they could offer purpose made sizes as opposed to the standard 150mm, 300mm, 350mm and so on in increments of 50mm. There is normally no 700mm as standard but as said can be produced depending in where you opt to to get them from. Many now come with soft close as standard. Most are flat packed so you have to assemble them and put the cams and pegs in place but some are supplied semi assembled (like the ones we sell) so can be put together in 2 minutes. The cost of the carcases will vary depending on colour, flat packed, semi assembled or fully assembled. The doors have to be manufactured. They‘re not just cut to size as you say. You need to know what size you want before ordering them as you can’t just cut one down that’s too big. Worktops are a minefield of choice from solid timber, laminate, Quartz or solid surface. All vary in price. I would not bother getting carcases from one supplier and then doors from another. Small independent suppliers in the main work out no more expensive than large DIY stores. You need a kitchen company to assist you.
