Kitchen in - what wall colour/splash back?

Hi I am looking for advice on what colour or if to paint the walls a colour. The worktops are white granite and I feel the white walls are doing nothing for it. It is open plan into a dining room/snug (opposite the bank of 4 tall units with ovens) so the colour doesn't really need to tie in with anything yet. There is a SE facing window to the right and a large white wall with no cupboards to the left. No floor colour yet either thinking of a nuetral light tone.

Is that a green toaster I see in the corner? If so green or even orange would tone nicely.

So we have decided on Wimborne White on all walls. We plan to add 2 or 3 very large pictures on the radiator wall. If we still feel this is plain we can repaint either this wall or the one with the shelves. Header13 we really like blue and have used it in our south facing bedroom. Carolina I'm afraid to say no. Picking the floor seems to be by far the hardest decision. We really cant decide on light vs (warm) medium grey. We have so many samples and I think it is just making it worse. We feel light should help keep the room bright but could make it all too plain and samey? Darker may give better contrast and more interesting? Lighting in the kitchen is currently really poor (we took the lights down for plastering as they are being replaced) but here is some pictures showing examples of flooring shades we are considering. Most of the colours seem to be falling in these two camps. White oak vs a grey/smoke oak.

Copper and graphite work well together. Perhaps look at something along the lines of Calacatta Marble. Here’s a small kitchen we did. Graphite on the bottom with copper handles and Dove Grey on the top, Calacatta Marble worktops

upstand or splash back on wall behind kitchen sink?

We had a teeny upstand put on as I was going to put a metallic splashback across the whole of the back run. I ended up just painting it in a kitchen washable paint BUT it’s a nightmare! The tap is powerful and also a hot water tap and it splashes and leave marks on the paint (it is a dark paint so not the easiest to hide marks to be fair) and so I will plan to have some sort of easy wipe upstand put on at least 12” high now. Painted the damn thing about 4 times now, lol.

It that laminate or lino on the floor? Worried floor tiles will be very cold.
