Comments (2)I think 2 or 3 would look more balanced than just having one. If you wanted to do 3 I'd step the 3rd one (over the counter) up so that it matches the step up from the level of the table. Somewhat like they've done below with the pendant over the sink. As far as spacing, this is what I found when I googled. Obviously just an idea, but always make sure it looks aesthetically correct (eg. get someone to hold it in place so you can see before you fit them) or it's likely to annoy you! "For functionality and adequate lighting, the spacing between pendant lights should be uniform. The exact distance between each light is based on the amount of available space, but a standard rule of thumb is to place lights 30 inches apart.
