No, its just a simple inline on/off floor switch

Hi Laurence, have you considered using recessed lighting uplights to shine up the wall. The reflected light will illuminate the whole room. I would suggest using high power LED Strip like our Samsung Strip, it is 1000 Lumens per Metre and draws just 8.2w of power. If you need it even brighter we have the 2000/m Lumen version. The effect uplighting will create will be less industrial looking than Corn Lamps. All lights on dimmers wherever possible. Tile directly above worktop - no upstand. Not sure what you mean by pull outs, post a pic of kitchen elevations. Shelves can vary a bit but do need to work for you - depends on whether you're going to use the stuff on shelf every day or if it's more for displaying items, what the ceiling height is, what else is on the wall beside them (cabinets, extractor, etc). No experience of latches, other than having an internal sliding bolt type fixing on the inside of the door you want to keep shut, but then you need to put your hand into the cabinet to open it?

Is your sink staying in the same place? We created a whole false wall to conceal the waste pipe, which was in the same position as yours. Then we were able to build in a niche shelf above the bath and tiled the entire side wall. Not sure if you'd lose too much space doing that though. Otherwise i would just tile everything uo to the height of the window ledge (inc waste pipe) and paint above it. So the waste pie would be tiled to half way up. I would also have the tiles across the wall and waste in a horizontal pattern to contrast with the vertical ones on the other side and make it more contemporary.

Lights inside cabinets never seem very bright so I’m confident that they won’t need dimming. But that dimmer switch won’t work and you will need a different switch.
