Hi, I agree with Nancy a white wooden bed would be great in your bedroom especially as you have painted your door white and your skirting is white also, or alternatively a darker grey fabric headboard would also be stunning with white bedding.. Wall colour is a very personal choice but i would recommend a light grey by The little Greene company No. 224 (INOX) i think it would work well with your existing patten and will not be to over powering in the room. See link: http://www.littlegreene.com/paint/colour/grey-paint-colours/inox-224 I would re-sintall the fireplace if you can as would bring back that classic look you are going for, keeping a white surround or shelf would also keep the room feeling light and airy. Pop some frames or artwork up on the walls behind the bed and maybe a mirror about the fireplace (if you re-install) and i think you will have a very stunning bedroom. Fisherman Easy to Fit Pendant Ceiling Light 30cm - Silver Currently £32 Small Oberon 1 Light Ceiling Pendant - Chrome This is slightly more expensive, but we think it;s definitely worth a consideration.
