Bathroom help design 8x8 64 square feet bathroom

I want to build 8x8 Bathroom need some.help for designing entry is from one end of the left corner please some ideas as i have to put bath tub plus vanity and both english commode and indian commode suggest some ideas

Hi. I agree that the space saving stuff is nasty. As well as being ubiquitous, it looks cheap (overly fussy cabinet doors made out of something plastic-y... I don't understand why someone hasn't designed something better). Anyway, wall hung units look sharper and it is really easy to clean the floors. Also, provided the door doesn't bash into that unit, you can fit just as much in two deep drawers than you can in three skinny cabinets. That said, assuming we are looking at the longer wall you have (196) then I would move the toilet over more toward the pillar (the pillar doesn't look deep enough to interrupt the actual bowl of the toilet) and get a 90cm vanity and sink in there, flush against the wall next to the door. I have a bathroom of almost the same width and I have a round mirror above the 90 cm vanity so it isn't shoved up against the wall and have a wall light either side of the mirror. There is plenty of room around the loo and there is ample storage (I have a freestanding cabinet that has little legs and two cupboard doors and a sink mounted on the top so that my tall partner can shave and brush his teeth without all the evidence going all around the bathroom).

One possible solution. It gives you the bath and shower in one unit behind the door away from the window as well as the sink and WC of course. Admittedly a little tight on plan at the end of the shower bath but your upper body and arms would be free to move over the end of the bath and into the window recess, and your feet, whether standing or sitting, would always be in front of the WC where you have more space. The sink has plenty of space around it with room for a towel rail adjacent. The sanitary where is all taken from the Ideal Standard website but you could use any manufacturer - the point is it can be done. I would also make the glazing obscure, if it is not already, by using an after market stick on film cut to size. You can get plenty of patterns or just frosted. You could also add blinds as previously suggested. Note: any proposed layout could be affected by the proximity of your existing foul water drainage - just bear that in mind.

We have just purchased what we hope to be our last house. It is a very big plot and we are looking to knock down and get planning for a very large house over 4 floors. (12,000 sq ft). We know what we want internally however our issue lies with the external look and feel. My wife wants classic new build, with pillar entrance, sash box windows with stone cills or surroundings (Surrey Commuter belt!). I like contempory white, modern, square, glass walls, feature cladded walls with balconies (Beverly Hills!) Our compromise is classic at the front contempory at the rear. We need help! Hopeful designjunction will help offer solutions so we can move forward.

I can't believe people would want their houses to have a hotel feel. I always thought my mother was complaining when she said that we treated her house like a hotel! My parents never used their Ensuite as the family bathroom was much bigger. I'm not a fan of ensuites and didn't miss loosing one when I moved house. However if I lived in a house as big as Downton Abbey I'd want one lest I met a ghost on the way to the bathroom in the middle of the night!
