Advice on sofa and furniture please

We need help please we are looking at the DFS zinc sofa by French connection but can’t decide on colour and then furniture .... curtains too .. any advice gratefully received ! The lounge is light grey and deep blue.

Hi Sally, I would bring in some lighter blues/greys and use pattern such as stripes, geometric or ikat prints to add interest as in the pictures below. Add large artwork and mirrors to break up the wall space

I love all the art you have chosen for this room....and the bit of yellow in them totally work. I was nervous about the size of a few, so grouping is a good idea. I think the largest one can work alone and the other two can maybe stack?

I totally agree with above comment I always so for timeless look for big expensive furniture like sofas. you csn always change the look with your accessories. see mine similar items and woodfloor I was going for a elegant vibe here but have rocked it up a bit with union jack cushions and more industrial metal legged furniture and wire baskets. I just change things around working from a classic starting point 8

Hello, Perhaps you could add a large mirror next to the shelving unit that could reflect the outside light and make the room lighter? Another idea would be to add a bit of colour / accessories to give a modern twist (quite traditional at the moment). Pictures and cushions could be your best friends here! Love your choice of bold colour. I think light neutral colour curtains would look great and also keeping a more neutral pallet for furnishings etc.
