Comments (6)Hello Elaine, I would use a brush but use what you feel gives the best surface finish, I tried a tiny roller and wasn't so keen on it., I'm better with a brush though.... Yes I think the undercoat and a light sand is the way to do it.. I use an eggshell with a low sheen. Or google it........rather depends on where you are geographically. You could even use the misfortune to update your kitchen by choosing different doors/colours for some of the cupboards. Comments (8)Hi there! Perhaps go for a 2 tone kitchen? dark grey base units, if you love that colour and a lighter grey on the wall units or maybe white? Dark grey does look stunning with white. Alternatively, paint one wall in dark grey, with dark grey accessories (kettle, toaster etc) which will make it look dramatic and keep the units white or light grey?
