Floor tile for bathroom?
Comments (15)We did use marble in the shower walls and hex on the floor tiled over a tray. Re etching not too much w calacatta polished but Carrara honed yes (another bathroom) Re cleaning No limescale remover or bleach can be used or it is ruined! So think about the taps and be very careful with product drips! https://www.porcelain-tiles.co.uk http://via-arkadia.co.uk https://www.cdstiles.com Mandarin stone Good luck!...See More1930s bathroom tile dilemma
Comments (7)Always worth checking with Lasscos, if they don't have any then they may be able to suggest where you can get some, and who may be able to restore the ones you have. They have a few locations so worth going and having a look or at least giving them a call. They will also probably have some other 30s bathroom fixtures. I just love visiting them, dangerous though as I end up buying stuff. http://www.lassco.co.uk/...See MoreUpdating a small, white-tiled bathroom and colour advice please.
Comments (15)Sanitary ware. I'm having a crisis of decision making. I bought a new sink and vanity from IKEA: https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/washstands-taps/wash-stands/fullen-t%C3%A4lleviken-wash-basin-cabinet-white-spr-39891444/ However, it's occurred to me since that it'll take up too much of the room/floorspace, especially as the sink faces you as you walk in. I've been looking at other designs, and the wall-hung sink with a nicer-looking chrome waste could be a much better option. Added to this, if I'm tiling the floor, I'll probably need to buy a new loo, and IKEA doesn't do matching loos. Therefore...where can I buy a basic loo/basin package? What's the difference between a 'toilet and basin' and a 'cloakroom suite'? Should I go for one or two tap holes? Am I wasting my money? Should I just update the taps on the existing sink and tile-box in the waste?...See MoreBathroom Tiles / shower tray advice
Comments (6)Just wondering whether it would look sleeker and larger with your Hex grey on the floor and your feature wall. It simplifies the look cutting down to just two different tiles. The hex grey will still look nice with the slate tray and the black shower surround. I'm not sure if it was an error, but you mention hex grey on the shower wall and the links you give are for black, sand and white. This is the grey Cement grey that can go on the floor and the wall, with the white everywhere else....See MoreSam Potter
